Shoe sizes: EU, UK and US
EU shoe sizing is based on the length of the shoe last, which is why a foot-length column lets you convert across any brand. US men's and women's sizes differ by 1.5 (a women's size is 1.5 higher than the men's number for the same shoe).

Men's tops by chest measurement
Men's shirt and jacket sizing is most reliable from the chest measurement. A European jacket size is roughly the chest in centimetres divided by two (a 96 cm chest ≈ EU 48).

What is EU size 42 in US and UK shoes?
Roughly a US 8.5 for men (about a US 10 for women) and a UK 8 — but shoe sizing varies noticeably between brands, so treat it as a starting point. EU 42 fits a foot of about 26.5 cm.
How do I find my real shoe size?
Measure your foot. Stand on paper in the evening (feet swell during the day), mark the heel and longest toe, and measure the length in centimetres. Match that to the foot-length column in the chart, and round up if you are between sizes.
